Gameplay: The grappling system and controlls are horrible. This is a lackluster game that comes no where close to wwf no mercy. I purchased this game for 10 dollars not expecting much. Overall: The first attempt at a wrestling game on the xbox. Also would be cool to be able to drop opponants on announcer tables etc. Keep adding wrestlers, perhaps have an interview scene or allow the wrestlers to go behind the stage. Combine this with the visuals and it feels like you are in the arena. True to form entrance themes and the smack of a chair hitting an opponant over the head. Sound: The sounds in this game are also top notch. The moves are smooth and the visuals are very well done. Graphics: Graphics are great, very realistic. Controls are naturally a bit complex but don't take long to learn and after a few rounds in the squared circle you will understand the majority of the moves needed to successfully win a match. Gameplay: The gameplay is realistic, with true to the game entrance themes and custom moves from all of the top wrestlers in the WWF. Likely won't buy this one but WWE Raw #2 will be a likely purchase. It took me abit to get used to it due to the fact that Blockbuster didn't send any user guides with it. Overall: Once you figure out the controls for the wrestlers this is an extremely enjoyable game. I for one would like to be able to run out and dropkick the Undertaker off his bike. Maybe a random audiance member could run out and take a swing once in a while. One where it saves the champ ,and when he come to the ring he has the belt on. Where random things happen and people attack your guy. out at the anouncers table would be an added bounus. I would like to see more than six guys maybe eight or so. Suggestions: Where do we start? First of all you need a Royal Rumble match it is the back bone if you want this to go on xbox live. I would like to have been able to use music from my sound track on my created guys. Finally they got to use all the superstars intro music. That had to be the worst Triple H replica I have ever seen. Graphics: The best part of the game without a dought! The intro's kick ass! I really like the replay when you do a finishing move. Haveing six people in the ring at once was a nice change.
I think that the AI players reverse moves to much, But they do put up a good fight which gives yoou a challange. It was very simular to wwf games of the past.I think one thing that could help would be to change the taunt/special to the right joy stick. Gameplay: I did like the feel of the game. It takes me a hour to make a guy and i can do it relatively quick. Like putting a outfit together is a giant headache. The create a superstar was cool but lacked in some area's. The only thing it has going for it is the graphics. I'll admitt I play the game all the time ,but I wouldn't own it if I would have played it befor I bought it. No going back stage, no hell in the cell, and for the love of god no Royal Rumble what were you thinking? This is the xbox version of war zone. Most of the weapons were bogus, and what the hell is up with the no champaign mode. You can't even climb the ladders or get on tables! I mean come on People.
The game it's self is ok, but had the potental to be so much more.
They gave us a swift kick in the junk! That being said, I was highly disapointed. Overall: Ok, First off they promised us the world.
